An opportunity has become available for a Trainee Factory Manager at Vitro
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Senior Factory manager in operational management and team development of the factory.
- Safety and risk management in terms of legislation
- Recruitment, training, and development of personnel
- Asset preservation through development, implementation, and management of effective systems
- Develop and implement best practice in all areas of the factory.
- Driving continuous improvements and waste elimination to reduce costs and improve quality.
- Product development to ensure sustained fashionable and value for money product ranges.
- Project management of capital projects
- Financial control of factory costs
- Sourcing of new local and international suppliers
- Ensure the factory is focused on agreed key performance indicators.
- Drive the fast paced and high-performance culture.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- National Diploma/B degree in engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgy or Electrical) and/or Millwright Qualification.
- At least 5 years Middle Management working experience in FMCG and/or Manufacturing.
- GCC Factories or currently studying would be an added advantage.
